The overall mission of the ISYPROM project being derived from the above challenges is the Implementation of a process-driven, PLM-integrated Systems Engineering. Being a research oriented project, the results from ISYPROM will be more of a methodological nature, while prototypical implementations of dedicated tools and interfaces are pursued to demonstrate feasibility.
Expected methodological results:
- Elaboration of an integrated product-, system- and enterprise-model (metamodel),
- Concepts for a horizontal connection of multi-domain partial models,
- Concepts for neutral PLM integration of Systems Engineering and
- Maturity Models and metrics to assess product innovation processes.
Software tools and interfaces:
- ISyMO²GO, an enterprise and business process modelling tool,
- ISyFMU, a client for the connection of different partial models to establish continuity between models and a higher quality of interdependency information,
- ISyMAP, a component of the ISyFMU for the context-based mapping of models and
- Interfaces and integration mechanisms for the whole ISYPROM tool-architecture (based on MDA and SOA).
